I started my photography career with Minolta cameras in the 1980s. So the transition to Sony cameras came as a natural progression and I have now used Sony cameras over the last 12 years.

I have a passion for Portraits in the studio and on location as well as night street portraits, nightscapes and travel photography.

For nearly 3 years I ran the Melbourne Camera Club's Portrait Group. From there I moved into running my own workshops around Melbourne and Victoria. Specialising in location and studio portrait sessions.

I have a wealth of experience both from a technical and artistic perspective and enjoy sharing my knowledge with my workshop participants.

When you come to one of my workshops my goal is to help you learn some new techniques as well as take home some great shots for your portfolio.

What is in your camera bag?

Sony A7R II and Sony A7S II along with Sony 12-24 f4, 24-70 f2.8 GM, 70-200 f2.8 GM STF 100, 55 f1.8 and a tonne of batteries...

What is your go to in your Alpha kit and why?

I have a sling bag with the Sony A7R II the 12-24 f4, 24-70 f2.8 GM and the 70-200 f2.8 GM

I have this as it will suit most situations on the go, the f2.8 will allow me to shoot late into the night while the 12-24 is a fun lens to use.

Most memorable moment shooting with Alpha?

Two come to my mind, a road trip from Melbourne to Uluru for the Field of Lights. We went via Lake Eyre which along with Uluru was very spiritual and amazing.

The second was two weeks in Japan with my son seeing the amazing sights and taking so many pictures.
