Born and based in Queenstown NZ, Stefan Haworth specialises in Action Sports and Commercial photography. With passion for ocean and outdoors, Stefan's work takes him across the globe. He works with some of the world's best athletes and is grateful to be able to meet the people he does.
Getting a cover shot is rad, huge stoke factor, but also seeing it in person and what goes behind it all is amazing. Working together with an athlete on something we're passionate about to create images then see them overcome fears and challenges is huge. I wouldn't change one bit of it, I love telling a story.

What is your go to in your Alpha kit and why?
Sony a7RIII paired with the Sony FE 35mm f1.4 ZA. For me its the perfect lens combo setup. I shoot alot of my images on this range. its wide enough to capture the overall scene of the sports or the tight enough to capture the portait. It's my go to peice of kit
Most memorable moment shooting with Alpha?
Years later after a visit to indonesia I spent days tracking down each villager, I was able to return prints of portraits I took of them. Their reaction and tears was a rewarding experience. A moment that just had to be enjoyed
