Capture amazing landscapes (and astroscapes) in Dunedin / The Catlins
About the event
So you've got to grips with your interchangeable lens camera and you're ready to take your landscape images to the next level?
Join me on a 2 day trip around Dunedin's east coast and the Catlins shooting landscapes and astroscapes. This workshop will cover all that's required to capture and process beautiful landscape images.
Day 1 will see us exploring what Dunedin has to offer. Sunrise at Hoopers Inlet or Saint Clair Beach, Visiting a waterfall during the day and going through processing our images. Sunset at Tunnel Beach.
Day 2 will be exploring The Catlins. Heading to Nugget Point for sunrise, visiting a few waterfalls on our route down to Cathedral Caves or Waipapa Point for sunset. All whilst going through further processing on our captured images.
Both nights will also have the potential of shooting astro if they are clear!
Travel throughout each day will be provided so there's no need to arrange for transportation (other than being in Dunedin) unless you would prefer to do so.
You can choose to attend both days for $450, or just one day (either Saturday or Sunday) for $250.
As an added bonus I will be bringing a selection of extra Sony cameras and lenses with me. This provides the perfect opportunity to try before you buy, or simply have a play around with some different gear.
Note: You don't need to use a Sony camera for this workshop, however you may not fully benefit from the tutoring experience and gear on hand.
