Lightroom is a powerful and simple tool to transform your images into stunning works of art, but how do you begin to understand and use all its features to your advantage?
I will help you to become proficient in Lightroom during this 4 hour online workshop (held over two consecutive Monday nights of 2 hours each session) focusing on simple step-by-step learning.
We'll cover the best ways to import, rate and catalogue your images to keep on top of your image library, and how you can seamless work between Lightroom on the desktop and mobile.
We'll explore the Lightroom panels explaining how each one works and when to use it. We'll also cover the global adjustments you should be making to all your images, as well as selective adjustments using filters and colours to enhance the natural tones in your shots and make them pop. We'll also discuss how to set up presets to cut down on your editing time.
There are also simple yet effective ways to incorporate Photoshop into your Lightroom editing without having to be a pro, so we'll cover how to get better results by using both when faced with challenging edits. It's also important to understand how to export and print your images to retain quality for printing so we'll discuss how to do this.
If you don't already use Lightroom you can sign up to the Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop free 7-day trial afterwards to practice the editing techniques we will cover in the workshop (make sure you get the version that has both Lightroom Classic and Photoshop).

You'll find my teaching style informal and fun and the learning is easy to understand and well paced. The recordings of the online sessions will also be made available to attendees after the two sessions have concluded.
Note: you don't need to shoot with Sony equipment to benefit from this workshop, everyone is welcome!
