A casual photowalk at Piha Beach
About the event
Join me for a casual photowalk at Piha, one of the most popular and photo-friendly beaches in Auckland.
The structure will be super loose. While a few basic principles of outdoor portraiture and landscape photography will be covered, there won't be any formal teaching. This is just a great opportunity to get some fresh air (and maybe a coffee), talk photography, meet new people, and take some cool photos!
Techniques covered
- Basics of landscape photography
- Basics of portrait photography
What to bring
- A camera - ideally one that allows manual control of aperture, shutter speed and ISO
- Memory card
- Warm clothing
- Suitable footwear

Yes, I'll have a selection of Sony Alpha gear available. This will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
