About the event
This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy two days on Rotoroa Island, a wildlife sanctuary just an hour from Auckland. We'll be taking advantage of the island's dark night skies to learn astro photography. You'll also have the opportunity to explore the beautiful beaches and experience the conservation of iconic New Zealand species during your stay.
The package includes:
- Water Taxi to and from Auckland central
- Accommodation for the night on the island (boutique hostel)
- A night under the stars learning how to capture the night sky and the Milky Way
- A processing session to make the most of your RAW files
- A guided nature walk on the island
- A $50 donation to the Rotoroa Island Trust, a nonprofit restoring the island sanctuary
