Hi! I'm Carmel, a Hobart based landscape photographer with a passion for capturing the unique scenes Tasmania has to offer. After moving from Queensland to Tasmania in early 2017, I was blown away by the diversity the Tasmanian landscape has to offer and began travelling the state in search of the next sunrise location, snowy mountains and beautiful seascapes. I work full-time running my own freelance Interior Design business which over the years has involved me shooting interiors as well as products and homewares for leading businesses and brands.

Having travelled extensively around the world, I have a love for capturing landscapes, cultures and experiences through travel photography and I look forward to expanding on this more in the near future.

What is in your camera bag?

I like to take only what's necessary for where I'm shooting which always includes my Sony a7 III, wide angle lens, filters, memory cards, shutter release and light-weight Tripod.

Most memorable moment shooting with Alpha?

My first night shooting with the a7 III, I was lucky enough to capture the Aurora Australis and Milky Way in one shot! With one of my main reasons for purchasing the a7 III being it's low light capabilities, this sure was a memorable night!
