Most memorable moment shooting with Alpha?
The most memorable moment was probably when a friend first introduced me to the gap at Piha beach, here on the west coast of Auckland. I couldn't believe the beauty of the waves as they crashed in through the gap between two small cliffs. The way the water swirled and frothed - I was in awe. The roar of the ocean was a white noise effect for me, calming my thoughts. I set to work on the impossible task of capturing how I felt, and it has informed my practice ever since.
