I’m a freelance photographer and educator located in Brisbane, with a passion for not only capturing cityscapes, but also teaching others the art of photography, as well helping individuals set-up and understand their new cameras.

Since October 2017 I have been hosting groups of up to 8 participants in Phocademy workshops aimed at beginners and beyond beginners, as well as night photography, covering all the techniques and tips required to capture the best possible images from sunset, blue hour and beyond. I truly enjoy running these workshops, which I will continue to do in conjunction with some new and exciting workshops though Sony Scene.

For over 2 years I've also been the in house photographer for Brooklyn Standard in Brisbane and have so far, successfully hosted 2 in venue group workshops on low light and flash photography.

I am really excited and thankful for the opportunity to work as a Sony Digital Imaging Advocate.

What is in your camera bag?

What is your go to in your Alpha kit and why?

My go-to is my A7RIII coupled with the 24-70 f/2.8 GM lens. This is actually quite perfect for the kind of events I do, especially with the added flexibility using the Super 35 crop mode. It's also wide enough to allow me to capture the odd landscape or cityscape.

Most memorable moment shooting with Alpha?

My most memorable moment is actually during my very first hands on experience with the A7RIII, which was during the Sony Roadshow event in Brisbane last year. So memorable in fact, I bought my Sony kit that very night.
