Hi! I'm Karen, an award-winning Sydney based photographer passionate about travelling and capturing all aspects of the natural world from unique perspectives. I enjoy shooting landscapes and their transformations with a focus on long exposure photography, aerial exploration in particular abstract aerial patterns, and more recently, wildlife within their natural habitats.
What is in your camera bag?
I like to travel light so as little as possible! Most of the time it's my Sony a7R III, a wide or mid-range zoom depending on what I'm shooting, filters and a light-weight Tripod.
What is your go to in your Alpha kit and why?
I love the 24-105mm lens and that's always in my bag. The versatility of the lens as well as it's sharpness makes it an ideal lens for travelling and the focal range also makes it my go-to lens for aerial photography.
