A free lunchtime live shoot demonstration with Sony, Profoto and Oliver, created as a preview of Oliver’s upcoming workshop on building intentional portfolio work.

This session focuses on the shoot itself. Guests will see how Oliver approaches a simple beauty shoot in real time, from lighting and camera choices through to direction, posing and working with talent.

Using the Sony camera system and Profoto lighting, Oliver will photograph models live, with Nick Fraser from Sony and Shane Jones from Profoto sharing practical insight around gear, lighting and workflow throughout the session.

There’ll be free food and drinks, time to meet other creatives, ask questions, and get a closer look at how a polished portfolio-style shoot is created.

This is a live demonstration rather than an open shooting session, so guests won’t be photographing the models themselves. The focus is on watching the process and seeing how the shoot component comes together before Oliver breaks down the full planning, pitching and portfolio-building process in the paid workshop.
