Pro's camera kit revealed: essential gear choices and best lens selections

About the event

Join me for the first of a two-part series exploring the gear that goes into creating landscape images. This session focuses on the core of any photographer's setup: cameras and lenses. I'll share detailed insights about the equipment I rely on for capturing landscapes across from Tasmania's rugged mountains to the icy glaciers of Antarctica.

In this 90-minute session, I'll take you through my camera choices and lens selection, explaining how I use each piece of equipment in real-world situations. You'll learn about my complete Sony kit, including specialist gear like infrared cameras, and get honest insights about what works in tough field conditions.

The session is casual and interactive - I'll share my experiences and recommendations while answering your questions throughout. Whether you're looking to build your kit or refine your gear choices, you'll get practical advice about investing in equipment that delivers results.

We'll explore the essential camera gear I use for landscape photography, from bodies and lenses to key accessories. I'll share insights about selecting equipment for different scenarios and managing your kit effectively in the field. You'll learn about my approach to camera selection, lens choices, and how I've refined my kit over years of professional work.

This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced photographers to learn about professional-level camera equipment and get practical advice about gear selection.
