Engagement Session Live Shoot Workshop

This workshop is the ultimate introduction to photographing couples – complete with a live shoot. From gear prep to engaging with your couple, to looking for light and working with whatever Mother Nature throws your way, you’ll leave this session equipped with the tools needed to smash your next engagement shoot from start to finish.

Itinerary

• 1.5 hour - Intro, gear prep, settings we use, meeting our couples
• 2.0 hour - Post-processing workflow, editing, delivery
• 1.5 hour - Shoot at Muriwai (or Collective Studios if raining)

• Gear setup for outdoor portraiture
• Interacting with couples to create natural images that you and your clients will love
• Building an eye for composition
• Finding good light and using it
• Post-process workflow and editing

• A camera (or two)
• Suitable footwear for a walk on the beach
• A laptop (if you'd like to follow along in the workflow/edit component)
• A jacket
