Music Video Masterclass

Get tickets* for either general access to the event, or to get hands on experience in specific fields including:

Camera Operation – Work with award winner Cinematographer Casimir Dickson ACS an learn the ins and outs of camera movement, framing, blocking, focus pulling and communicating with lighting dep. and Director.

Production Design - Work with an industry leader “Tylah Pratt” in our production design team and learn how to make the Director's vision come to life with props, set dressing and effects.

Audio Department - Work for the day in our audio department and learn skills on how to record the highest quality location audio for your next production. Learn skills on mic placement, setting correct levels, recording externally and internally and sending a return back to camera department.

Lighting Department - Work with commercial Gaffer "Storm Ashwood" to create lighting scenes that will bring this video clip to another dimension. Learn how to create a lighting aesthetic, that suits the script and Directors vision.

Directing - Work with Mark Naidoo who will direct the music video, cover creative storytelling, working on storyboards and treatments. Learn visual expression and capturing the artists essence.

*THIS IS A 2 DAY WORKSHOP. TO GET ACCESS TO BOTH DAYS ENSURE YOU SELECT THE "Attend Day 2" ADD ON AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TICKET SELECTION SCREEN.

The second day will be held in North Sydney on Sunday the 10th of September at Fat Poodle Studios. It will run from 10-4pm where Hieu Nguyen will teach you how to edit and colour grade the footage captured on day 1 of this workshop.
