About the event
Join Sony Ambassador Colin Jeffs for a hands-on workshop exploring the process of creating cinematic, high-energy performance music videos.
Working with a live rock band in the studio, you'll learn how to build an engaging performance setup from the ground up. We'll cover lighting design, camera placement and settings, directing artists for authentic performances, and creating multiple dynamic looks within a single location.
Throughout the session, we'll explore creative approaches to capturing music visuals, discuss problem-solving techniques used on professional productions, and demonstrate how to maximise variety, energy and visual impact to keep an audience engaged. Whether you're new to music videos or looking to refine your filmmaking skills, this workshop will provide practical techniques and real-world insights that you can apply to your own productions.
