Sony Australia is excited to be part of the Sessions Automotive Car Show in Sydney! To celebrate, we’re hosting a special ZV-Nation Hands-On Photography Walkthrough — a unique opportunity to explore automotive photography with Sony’s ZV series cameras.
Led by Jomel, this workshop blends his passion for car photography with practical tips and techniques for capturing stunning shots in busy, real-world environments. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned shooter, you'll walk away with new skills and creative inspiration.
All bookings include a complimentary entry pass to Session (valued at RRP AUD35)
TBC meeting point will be outside entrance with location to be confirmed with attendees closer to event
Format and Flow
1. Welcome & Gear Chat (15 mins)
Kick things off with a quick meet-and-greet, followed by a rundown of recommended settings, lenses, and what to expect during the session.
2. Guided Walkthrough (60 mins)
- Shooting cars in crowded environments
- Mastering angles, lighting, reflections, and symmetry
- Capturing the details that matter
- Framing tips: foreground blur, object isolation, and more
3. Mini Creative Challenge (40 mins)
Put your skills to the test! Head out for a mini photo challenge and capture your best shots on the spot.
4. Q&A session (20mins)
Ask questions, share your shots, and get feedback from Jomel and the crew.
5. Lunch & Chill (60 mins)
Wrap up with a relaxed lunch and connect with fellow creatives.
