About the event

OPTIONAL WORKSHOP: EDITING SUPPORT SESSION
Post-Challenge Creative Support with Sony Advocates

This session is only eligible for registered attendees of the Sony Sydney Photo Challenge.

After capturing your vision of Sydney during the Photo Challenge, join us for an optional editing workshop designed to help you elevate your editing skills and final submission — whether you're working in photo or video. Each session is limited to 12 people per session at the Sony Penthouse.

Led by Sony Digital Imaging Advocates, this relaxed session offers personalised guidance on editing workflows, colour grading, exporting, and more. You’ll get hands-on support tailored to your creative style, whether you're polishing street photos, automotive content, or cinematic reels.

What to Expect:

  • Informal editing support from Sony advocates and mentors

  • Advice across photo and video editing workflows (Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)

  • Tips on exporting your content for optimal quality and submission

  • Optional one-on-one feedback and Q&A

  • Opportunity to meet other participants and share your creative approach

This is not a mandatory part of the challenge — just an added opportunity to refine your work, get inspired by others, and receive helpful feedback in a collaborative setting.

What to Bring:

  • Your laptop and charger (with editing software installed)

  • Headphones (if working with audio/video)

  • Your captured content (photos/videos from the challenge)

  • Any questions or edits you're working through

Spaces are limited and offered on a drop-in basis — no pressure, just support.

  • Photo and Video Editing

  • SD Card
  • Laptop and Charger
  • Hard Drive
  • Camera and Lens (if you have one)
