As we begin another new year, join Diamond’s Cameras and Sony Australia for a photographic wander through Adelaide’s beautiful city & botanic gardens.
Join Diamonds and Sony’s Peter Jackson, for a sunset photo walk through Adelaide’s east end. A selection of newer release Sony models will be available for you to try including the new A1 MkII body & 28-70mm F2 G- Master.
For those new to the Sony Brand there will be a range of Sony mirrorless cameras to test.
The course will begin in Diamonds Store, allowing the opportunity to discuss the technical and artistic aspects of photography before heading out and putting the theory into practice as we make our way to the stunning Adelaide Botanic Gardens. As the sun sets, it will be a great chance to catch the changing landscapes of the CBD including Adelaide’s flying foxes and the amazing flora the gardens have to offer.
Try a macro lens,.....a zoom lens or a big zoom, the gardens offer all sorts of opportunities if you know where to look. . Bring your creativity and enthusiasm but also any questions you have regarding shooting with Sony.
Guided by Peter you will be taught to look for ways to convey different scenes, understanding how a composed photograph shows the world what you see. While composition can be complex, we will help you understand several basic strategies when taking pictures of natural subjects.
This is a 3 hour hands on session involving technical advice
Cancellation: 48 hours notice is required to reschedule. Failure to provide notice within this period of time will result in your voucher being forfeited. The course will normally operate in all but exceptional weather conditions, in the event of severe weather we will contact you and transfer your booking to another date.
