About the event

I will have the following gear on the day for the attendees to try

Sony A7V (Recently released)
Sony 28-70 F2.0 GM
Sony 50-150 F2.0 GM
Sony 85mm F1.4 GMII

If you havent tried Sony A7V and Sony 50-150 F2.0 GM lens this is an excellent oppertunity for you to try this gear.

We will start the walk with a 5 to 10-minute briefing establishing portrait photography techniques when using natural light. After this as a group we will begin our Photowalk, shooting in different locations around. In total, the briefing and Photowalk duration will be 2 hours.

This Photowalk session will be hosted by Zeeshan (Sony Digital Imaging Advocate) who will be offering guidance and tips for portrait photography. Please note this is a Photowalk, not a workshop, your host will be available during the Photowalk time to answer any of your questions.

Non-Sony Shooters (Photographers) are also welcome to join.

Please note: the ticket price will be used to cover model/s hiring costs. I will ensure that we have 4 photographers - 1 model ratio on the day.

Techniques covered

Two to Three professional models for portrait practice
Posing prompts and quick lighting tips (natural light)
Guidance on composition, angles, and story-driven portraiture
Community catch-up with fellow Sony shooters

What to bring

Camera + charged batteries + memory cards
A 35mm, 50mm or 85mm prime recommended (zoom is fine)
Optional: small reflector or on-camera LED, water, comfy shoes
