Join us for a unique, hands-on photography workshop where dance meets dramatic lighting. Working with talented tango dancers, we’ll explore how light, colour and movement can transform a simple photograph into something truly artistic.

Using Nanlite LED and RGB lighting, we’ll create a variety of dramatic and cinematic setups, experimenting with different colours, shadows and lighting techniques to capture the emotion, connection and movement of tango.

Whether you enjoy creative portraits, experimenting with lighting or simply want to try something different, this workshop is a fantastic opportunity to push your creativity and capture some incredible images.

What we’ll explore:

💡 Creative Lighting – Experiment with Nanlite LED and RGB lights to create dramatic, colourful and cinematic portraits.

💃 Tango & Movement – Capture the elegance, passion and connection between dancers through carefully timed shots and creative compositions.

🎨 Colour & Mood – Learn how different colours, lighting angles and shadows can completely change the atmosphere of an image.

📸 Creative Portraits – Work with the dancers to capture beautiful posed portraits as well as natural movement and expressive moments.

🌑 Shadows & Silhouettes – Explore low-key lighting, dramatic contrast and silhouettes to create striking artistic images.

✨ Shutter Drag & Motion Blur – Towards the end of the workshop, we’ll get even more creative by experimenting with slower shutter speeds and shutter drag techniques. Combining light and movement, we’ll explore how to create artistic motion blur, light trails and dynamic images that bring the energy of tango to life.

This is a hands-on workshop with guidance throughout, giving you the opportunity to try different techniques, experiment with your camera settings and develop your creative photography skills.
