What is in your camera bag?
Sony Alpha A7IV, 16-35MM F2.8 GM, 85MM 1.8, 55mm F1.8 ZA, Spare SD cards, Spare batteries and a lightweight travel tripod.
What is your go to in your Alpha kit and why?
At the moment the Alpha 7IV and 16-35mm F2.8 GM is my go to Alpha kit when out shooting. Photographing in and around urban environments involves a lot of moving around so I like to keep my kit as minimal as possible.
I chose the Alpha 7R III because of its high-resolution 42.4 megapixel sensor, which enables me to crop into photos if I need to get a bit more reach.
The 16-35mm GM is an extremely versatile lens, with 16mm being great for tight spaces & landscapes, while 35mm is perfect for street photography, cityscapes & contextual portraits.
Most memorable moment shooting with Alpha?
My most memorable moment would be ending off a North Island road trip with a spontaneous sunset mission to the Te Paki sand dunes with friends. Our shoes filling up with sand while racing to the top of the dunes to get a good view of the sunset, and capturing it all on camera is a moment that I will never forget.
