I’m Michelle, an award-winning Digital Artist and Photographer based on the Central Coast, NSW.
In 2016 I joined my local camera club and that is when my ‘real’ photography journey started. I quickly discovered a passion for Adobe Photoshop and creating Composite Images. I particularly love creating images with animals taking part in human activities. I like to add as many details as I can and make them look as real as possible. All the elements in the images I create, are photographed by myself and I use programs like Adobe Photoshop to put them together.
The very first Creative Composite Image I put together (below) was an image title “Passed Out”. It only took 3 images, but the end image had me hooked. I entered it in a National Competition where it was awarded 1st Place and I haven’t stopped creating since.
Over the last 7 years I have learned many lessons and discovered what does and doesn’t work when creating believable images and I’m happy to share these discoveries with anyone keen to learn.
I love to teach and share my knowledge and hope to see you at one of my workshops/events to share the tools and techniques I use to create my images and inspire you all.
What is your go to in your Alpha kit and why?
My go to kit is the Alpha 7RV with the 24-70 GMaster II, 70-200 GMaster II and the 2x teleconverter. The series II Lenses are so light this makes this kit easy to carry around all day but gives me freedom to photograph anything I need to with incredible depth of field. The A7RV has enough megapixels to allow me to crop in so I'm not dissappointed if my subject ends up being just that little bit further away.
