Let's talk about what it takes to shoot destination weddings

About the event

Thursday 20 August - 8.00pm NZ time / 6.00pm Sydney time

This is always a popular topic in the world of photography, especially when you shoot weddings and wish to go out of your own backyard.

Attend this online event for an introduction into the crazy, crazy world of destination weddings.

From understanding what defines a destination wedding to shifting your mindset and embracing the chaos to better serve your couple - there is more to shooting a destination wedding than simply booking a flight and bringing your camera!

Based on my 12+ years experience, and having shot in over 20 countries around the world, I will share my personal perspective, tell you what to watch out for, and dicsuss both the good and bad aspects of shooting weddings overseas.

Shooting destination weddings is equal parts glamourous and chaotic - it is definitely not for the faint-hearted! With increased budgets comes increased responsibilities, and understanding all the layers and complexities involved will set you up for success in this wedding business niche.

NB: This event can be followed up with a portfolio review for those interested. Please email steph@bubblerock.co.nz to register your interest in a post-webinar (not the same day) portfolio chat specifically on destination weddings.
