In early 2023, Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Andrew J Clarke spent 5 weeks exploring Antarctica & South Georgia onboard the polar expedition ship the Ocean Endeavour with Intrepid Travel.
Join us at Midland Camera House on 26 April for an evening of images and stories from the frozen continent and learn:
What to expect from an expedition to the largest true wilderness area remaining on Earth.
The stories behind Andrew's images: from the wandering icebergs & glacial waterfalls of the Antarctic peninsula, to the vast penguin colonies & decaying whaling infrastructure of South Georgia.
The types of gear & camera settings that work in the extreme environments that the southern polar region presents.
