Wildlife photographer Simon Pierce shares his knowledge

About the event

Come along to Sony Store at Westfield Riccarton shopping centre in Christchurch to hear an inspiring and educational presentation by marine biologist and Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Dr Simon Pierce (@simonjpierce).

Simon is a highly accomplished photographer who has spent many years in the field photographing ocean wildlife. He'll be sharing his top tips for capturing remarkable images of animals in their natural habitats.

At this event you'll also learn how researchers are harnessing AI to turbocharge the photo-identification of ocean wildlife, and hear about some of the NZ citizen science projects that wildlife photographers can contribute to.

Note: You don't need to shoot with Sony camera equipment to benefit from this seminar, everyone is welcome. There will also be some special offers and spot prizes on the night!
