Alpha Insights is an ongoing series of monthly Zoom interviews, where we chat with talented photographers and videographers who use Sony Alpha equipment to produce exceptional imagery. During each 60-minute session, we’ll discuss their career to date, analyse their best work, and delve into their creative practices. Our very first guest is Rachael Smith from Palmerston North.
A multi-award-winning artist with a passion for fine-art printing, Rachael strives to capture the beauty all around us that often goes unseen. She uses her camera to create highly distinctive imagery that is both evocative and intriguing.
Rachael has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Contemporary Art, is an NZIPP Accredited Professional Photographer, an Ilford Master, and a Sony Digital Imaging Advocate.
