Join Sony advocate Matthew Gilligan on this workshop through a truly beautiful area on the mid north coast. Matthew will take you through the lush rainforests off Dorrigo to photograph two unique waterfalls that have very unique compositions surrounding each waterfall including rope bridges. This is a fairly intense walk around 6km of walking up and down hills in a dense rainforest environment so a high level of fitness is recommend for this event. Matthew will be teaching techniques that are suited for lower light photography with a big emphasis on long exposures and how to deal with the tricky light that rainforests can give. There will be ample of time to explore both locations with Matthew as there are serval compositions to explore.
This is a rainforest area which has a high chance of rain, so wet weather gear is likely to come in handy.
Because this is an intermediate workshop, basic knowledge about Shutter Speed, aperture and ISO will be assumed. By coming prepared with this knowledge, you can help ensure that Matthew will be able to help you and other attendees make the most of out of your time in this beautiful and unique part of the world!
