Join with us to learn some astro tips and light painting techniques

About the event

Learn various tips for Astrophotography from Sony Digital Imaging Advocate, Colin J. Pearce. Come and join the friendly, welcoming people in the Sony Alpha Adelaide group.

Astrophotography is becoming popular as our modern Sony cameras can photograph such dark, distant subjects. We may even do some light painting, which can help light the foreground to create stunning nightscapes.

Join Colin and fellow Sony camera users at this great location for Astro, with the "sticks" (old jetty pylons) and the caves, which offer many possibilities for your creativity.

Due to relying on clouds (or lack thereof), please keep a watch on your emails in case it's necessary to change the date due to weather forecasts.

Techniques covered

  • Astrophotography
  • Low light photography
