Auckland Sunset Photo Walk

Join me on a photo walk and meet up at Maungauika / North Head in Devonport.

All photographers, videographers, and creatives, are welcome to come along. This is a laid-back meet up rather than a workshop, so the focus isn’t on teaching techniques but on building connections within the local creative community.

If you’re just getting started and want to meet others, or you’re already part of the scene and simply want to hang out and chat about photography, this is the perfect event for you.
 

Itinerary

5:30PM: We'll meet ouside the North Head main gate on Takuranga Road.

5:45PM - 6:00PM: Brief introduction to the photo walk and talk about the planned route for the evening.

6:00PM - 7:30PM: We'll begin our walk around North Head, capturing photos of the bunkers and the viewpoint from the summit overlooking the city at sunset.

You do not need a Sony camera to attend this event. 

Please ensure that you sign up to this event with an active email address as I will be sending out regular email updates closer to the event.

• No specific techniques will be covered on the evening, but I will be available to offer advice about camera settings and answer any questions that may arise.

• Camera and lenses.
• Spare SD cards and batteries. 
• Shoes suitable for walking.
• Water and snacks.
• Lightweight tripod (optional - for night photography).
