Join @lifethroughoptics_ and @northborders together with Sony Australia for a hands-on automotive workshop and photowalk through Port Melbourne, featuring the Alpha 6700 and Alpha 7 V.
This session will cover static automotive photography, car portaits in various environments, movement and panning techniques, and sunset to low-light performance. You'll walk away with practical insight into how both Alpha 6700 and Alpha 7 V cameras performs across key automotive scenarious and the best settings to adapte to each environment.
The photowalk will move through three curated locations, from an open industrial space under the Bolte Bridge for depth-of-field and autofocus comparisons, to rolling and panning shots along Ingles Street, finishing with sunset and blue-hour shooting on a quiet industrial street. Each location is perfectly curated for optimal automotive photography.
The walk will be approximately 1.6km, concluding up near Brady Street Port Melbourne.
The evening will wrap with a live editing session, where Ben and Mike walk through their post-production workflow followed by a Q&A session.
This event is perfect for photographers looking to elevate their automotive imagery and better understand APS-C vs Full Frame in the field.
