About the event
Join me for an Autumn Photo Walk and Coffee Meet Up in the world-renowned Hamilton Gardens.
Note: This is a free event however you will need to pay a $20 entry fee for the enclosed gardens (if you don't already have a Pass) AND bring money for a coffee!
We'll meet at 9.30am for a coffee in the Hamilton Gardens Cafe, a chance to chat all things photography for an hour or so before we head into the Gardens for an autumn photo walk.
The autumn colours are stunning here during May and this is the perfect time to capture them!
Sony gear may be available for loan for the event, if there is anything you would like to try please message me on photos@meghannmaloneyphotography.co.nz with your request at least 2 weeks before the event.
Sunday 4th May will be a back up date in case of bad weather - as the gardens offer a lot of cover we'll only postpone if it's seriously bad!
Techniques covered
- I'll be on hand to assist with composition ideas in the different gardens
- How to frame a scene
- Using composition techniques to tell a stronger story with your image
What to bring
- Camera and lenses (i.e. 16-35, 24-70, 70-200)
- Polariser
- Tripod and ND filters (optional if you want to create longer exposures, I recommend bringing them for more creative options)
