The Barossa offers quite a variety of photographic opportunities. Come for the whole day or take part when you can (see the schedule below).
Friday's weather forecast is looking really good for the Barossa. We'll start at the picturesque Chateau Tanunda, then to the Steingarten Vineyard lookout for sunset, followed by dinner at The Clubhouse in Tanunda, ending up at the majestic Seppeltsfield Mausoleum for some astrophotography.
Meals, drinks, travel, etc. are at your own expense. If you want to do wine tasting at Chateau Tanunda, there's a charge of $10, and I've made a tentative booking for 2:30pm. Please email Colin to state whether you're coming for the wine tasting and/or for dinner: sonyadvocate@artphotos.com.au
Keep Colin's phone number handy in case you get lost or run late – 0408 426 546
En route to the Barossa consider driving up the less traveled Tweedies Gully Road for some country scenery, e.g. GPS around the area of 100 Tweedies Gully Rd, Rowland Flat.
You may like to arrive early to wander around historic Tanunda. Perhaps visit the Barossa Regional Gallery, 3 Basedow Rd, Tanunda which is open Saturdays and Mondays 11am-4pm.
