Beginner Street and Travel Photography

If you've recently purchased a digital camera or have never quite found the courage to step beyond "Auto" mode, this is the workshop for you!

Join Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Andrew J Clarke for this beginners workshop where you will learn how to gain control over your camera's settings and functions and create the images you've always wanted to shoot. Regardless of which camera you own, so long as it is digital (DSLR, point and shoot, mirrorless etc) and has some manual controls, this is the perfect starting point for your photography journey!

This workshop involves both theoretical and practical elements. For the practical side of things, we will hit the streets of Perth to put your new found knowledge to the test in a street/travel photography context. See below for a complete list of techniques covered.

Programme:

• 3:15 - 3:30pm - Meet outside 82 Beaufort Street, Perth WA
• 3:30 - 4:30pm - Introductory presentation and theory component
• 4:30 - 6:00pm - Photowalk and practical component in Perth CBD and Elizabeth Quay

For Sony camera users, it is highly recommended that you also attend the settings and customisation workshop "Setting up your Sony // Camera Customisation", which is scheduled immediately prior to this beginners workshop.
