About the event
Ready to try something a bit different?
Join me for a photowalk in Britomart where we'll attempt to capture letters of the alphabet.
This will be a two part challenge, with part two covering letters N through Z. You'll be required to create an image of each individual letter and can get super creative using urban structures or capture letters on signs, buildings, etc.
Photographers of all ages and levels of experience are welcome to attend, however having a basic understanding of how to navigate your camera's menus and change settings will help you make the most of this event. It'll be a great opportunity to talk photography with like minded people, take some fun photos, and get outside of your comfort zone!
Instructions on where to meet will be provided to attendees before the event.
You don't need a Sony camera to attend this event, but a selection of Sony cameras and lenses may be available to try during the morning. (Please email me on kirsten@wortandflea.co.nz at least two weeks prior to the event if there is any Sony camera gear you would like to try. Due to the length of this event I will only be carrying my own gear, so if there is something specific you are wanting to loan for this event you must request it in advance.)
Important information
This event will be rescheduled if it is raining heavily.
A community catch-up event will also be held immediately before this photowalk, so for those of you that would like to meet for a coffee and a chat with peers over a self-funded breakfast or hot drink, please register here: Coffee and All Things Photography - Auckland Community Catch-up
