Carlton Gardens Morning Photowalk | SceneScape Edition

Kick off your SceneScape Saturday with a casual morning photowalk around the historic Carlton Gardens. Before the doors to the Royal Exhibition Building open, we will meet on the grounds to catch up, socialise, and shoot the grand architecture and surrounding parklands.

During the walk, we will focus on capturing the scale and detail of the Royal Exhibition Building facade, using leading lines through the heritage tree avenues, and framing wide architectural shots before the crowds arrive. Whether you want to experiment with different focal lengths, refine your composition, or get quick feedback on camera settings, we will cover practical tips you can apply throughout the rest of your weekend.

The aim of the event is to provide photographers of all levels the opportunity to practice and develop their skills, whilst having a fun time meeting like minded individuals who share the same passion for photography. After we have explored the gardens, we will make our way to the entrance together to head into the main event.

WET WEATHER POLICY

In the event of heavily forecasted rain or a severe weather event, the decision to cancel or postpone the workshop due to weather conditions will be made 24-48 hours prior unless in extraordinary circumstances.
