About the event

Join Robin and Timothy from Wanderlust Imagery for a morning of bird photography in Centennial Park.

Centennial Parklands in Sydney is one of the easiest urban places in Australia to photograph birds. The lakes, wetlands, open grassland, and large trees attract many species, especially waterbirds and parrots. Over 50+ bird species have been recorded in the park, making it a reliable spot for wildlife photography.

Starting from the Vernon pavilion we will be walking around the ponds and looking for common hiding places of the inhabitants. The soft light at this time is excellent for active birds and calm water reflections.
