About the event
Join Sony advocate Matthew Gilligan on a ½ day of photography that will help you progress your skills in Landscape and Wildlife photography.
Have you ever used a 600 Prime? Well on this workshop we will have one available for you to shoot wildlife on Mutton Bird island while also using a top-of-the-line Sony mirrorless body
All photos you take on this you get to keep!!
The workshop will be broken down into 3 locations.
First location will be shooting sunrise at the iconic Coffs Harbor jetty where you can learn some core fundamentals for achieving correct exposure and some creative ways of shooting landscape photography.
Second location we will move onto Mutton Bird island which in total is around half an hour return walk from location one, this is where you will be able to photograph a large array of wildlife from optimal viewing positions. This is also where everyone will get some time with the 600mm lens and Sony body
(Bring an empty SD card for your turn with the Sony set up which will ensure you have the raw files to edit)
Final location will be on the jetty strip at one of the iconic restaurants where you have the time to do a Q&A with Matt while being treated to a delicious lunch.
The event will conclude after lunch around 1-to-2pm
(If this events sells out or you are thinking of getting a group together a second time slot can be organised for the next day). Minimum numbers for a second group is 4 with max attendees 8. Please email Mattgilligan.photo@outlook.com for more information.
