About the event
Join me for a colour-themed photowalk where we will each be given a different colour to hunt in Auckland CBD, with the aim of creating a 9-image colour-blocking set.
This event is about sharpening our observational skills by searching for a specific colour scheme. You will be encouraged to be curious, attentive, walk with intention, and shoot within established constraints.
This photowalk is open to digital and analog shooters of all camera systems and to spend quality time with like-minded people hunting for your assigned colour. There won't be any specific technical instruction given, but questions or technical discussions are welcome.
During the session, you will be able to try an Alpha 7 V to see how this full-frame camera performs in a street style environment (especially with its focus, amazing colour rendition, etc.)
Techniques covered
- Slowing down and shooting with intention
- Using constraints to unlock creativity
What to bring
- Camera - digital or analog
- Memory cards and a fully charged battery
- a spare memory card to use on the A7v if you want to give it a go.
