In association with the Australian Cinematographers Society, join Australian cinematographer Dan Freene ACS for this screening and Q&A session of episode one and two of the Netflix's TV series Wellmania. Dan was the director of photography in Wellmania and will share insights into the production, moments from behind the scenes, and share his experience filming with the Sony Venice camera.

Wellmania follows Liv who, when she has a major health crisis, is forced to rethink her 'live fast die young' attitude and features Celeste Barber, JJ Fong and Lachlan Buchanan. Directed by Helena Brooks and Erin White, Wellmania was produced and distributed through Fremantle Media and Netflix in 2023.
Dan Freene ACS is an Australian cinematographer specialising in feature films, television, documentaries, and commercials. Known for his use of light and dark, Dan has earned a reputation of being a master cinematorgapher that can deliver amazing results in a variety of challenging situations.
