About the event

Come join Shae Estella x SONY ALPHA and some of the best wedding vendors in South East Queensland who have carefully curated a one of a kind wedding content photo shoot.

This workshop is designed for all levels of wedding photographers and aims to provide an opportunity to build your portfolio and push your skills to the next level in wedding photography.

Everything is provided for you to capture high end content for your portfolio.

Over $10 000 worth of styling, models and florals for you to capture in a fun afternoon.

Inspired by 2024 European editorial styling to weddings, this workshop will include immaculately professionally styled wedding scenes including: Flat lay details, Floral ceremony set up, Portrait session including a 1969 Red Convertible Mustang, Reception tables, Wedding Cake, Champagne Tower, night time reception flash shots.

We will also have professionally signed agency models (a real couple), hair stylist, make up artists, stationery designer, high fashion bridal gown, a night time reception dress to complete whole photoshoot.

An abundance of florals and styling will bring the whole story together to provide show stopping content for you to capture and start attracting high value clients to your business.

Only 6 spaces for photographers available to keep this photography content exclusive.

Schedule

12:30pm – Welcome drinks at Carrington Estate, Sunshine Coast

12:45pm – Welcome and workshop overview

1:15pm – Flat lay scene (detail shots, set up shots)

1:45:pm – Ceremony scene with models

2:30pm – Portraits around venue + vintage convertible mustang scene

3:45pm – Short break

3:50pm – Sunset Portraits + champagne tower scene

4:30pm –  Reception Scene + Details (whilst model change into 2nd outfit)

5:00pm –  Cake cut / first Dance / direct flash night time photos

5:50pm – Finish photography

6:00pm – Q&A, Nibbles + Champagne for workshop attendees

7:00pm – Finish

- Guided step by step wedding day photography for a 4 hour shoot - Everything is provided for you to capture different scenes from a wedding day - Two professionally signed agency models who are a couple too! Scenes include: - Details / flay lay - Floral Ceremony Scene - Portrait location on site including red vintage convertible mustang - Reception table scape - Cake Table and floral styling - Champagne Tower - Night time dance floor scene - Consent to use the photos in your portfolio for a year (social media included)

You will be walking around the grounds of Carrington Estate for this workshop. Whilst it won't be far, please make sure you are steady on your feet.
This workshop is primarily aimed at those wishing to capture content for the purpose of their wedding photography business. No education on how to use the cameras in great depth will be covered however Shae is happy to provide recommendations on settings for each scene.
