About the event
This session is designed to help you prepare your photos for various exhibitions and competitions, using examples of the SAPF Annual Exhibition entries which close on Sunday 14th March, and the Sony Alpha Awards competition.
Colin J. Pearce (competition administrator for the South Australian Photographic Federation) will be giving inside tips on how to prepare your photos for competitions and exhibitions, including how to reduce the possibility of having your photos disqualified.
It is recommended you also register for the Sony Scene event on Tuesday 9th March, where you can get constructive suggestions on your own photos from accredited judge, Robert Dettman, plus SAPF Exhibition administrator, Colin J. Pearce.
We will be meeting online, using the very popular Zoom meeting software. Before the meeting, if you haven't already, please go to the below Zoom website and sign up (using the big orange "Sign Up free" button). Please use your actual name (so we know who you are).
Then download the "Zoom Client for Meetings" from:
www.zoom.us/download
If you need help installing Zoom on your computer or phone, before the meeting please phone Colin on 0408-4-COLIN (0408-4-26546).
Colin J. Pearce has been the competition administrator for the SAPF Annual Exhibition/Competition for the last six years. He is the immediate past president and former competition secretary of the Port Adelaide Camera Club. Colin is a Sony Digital Imaging Advocate.
