Bring a partner & pup as we walk through the beautiful Botanical Gardens.

About the event

Bring a partner, bring your pup & come join me as we venture through the beautiful Royal Botanical gardens. By May 2019, Sony's Scheduled firmware update shall have arrived enabling the A7RIII, A7III, A9 & new A6400 to receive advanced ‘Real-time Eye AF’ or ‘Evolved Eye AF’ as Sony describe it in the Firmware roadmap. In all autofocus modes, the cameras will automatically detect the eyes of animals and activate Eye AF with a half press of the shutter button. So let's take advantage of this new amazing feature & see what we can capture.

Partners/friends welcome as I recommend one for the pup & one on the camera. In addition to the photo walk, I will be providing advice on balancing the ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed for fast moving objects, composition & lighting along the way.

Meeting at gate D, we shall walk along the lake, stopping onto the lawns to discuss & photograph different techniques as we make our way back down to gate F.
