Experiencing the beauty, spirit and stories of the NSW Snowy Mountains

About the event

Join guest photographic mentors, Tim and Robin Moon of Wanderlust Imagery, sharing their knowledge, inspiration and guidance throughout the tour. Tour starts in Jindabyne, NSW. Staying at Mowamba River Lodge. 

The event is run by Snowy Brumby Horsemanship with your participation helping protect wild brumbies, with all proceed going to the Snowy Brumby Horsemanship Charity. Maximum Group Size: 12.

Tour Highlights
Spend time with the iconic Snowy Mountains brumbies while learning about their history, training and significance to the High Country
Photograph working horses in a rustic round yard and witness traditional ropework demonstrations • Capture two unforgettable brumby river crossings. Witness the quiet beauty of the mob crossing naturally at its own pace, then experience the thrill of a second crossing as the brumbies are driven through the river
Enjoy photographic opportunities featuring local wildlife and farm animals
Depending on the weather and seasonal conditions, photograph star-filled night skies, mist-covered plains, vibrant autumn colours or even an early snowfall
Savour delicious local produce, regional wines and authentic High Country hospitality

Yes. Loan equipment can be arranged with 4 weeks notice
All breakfasts, lunches and dinners for the duration of the workshop
Access to Mowamba River Lodge is by well maintained unsealed road. 4 wheel drive vehicle not required,
All meals, 4 nights accommodation, and transport to all venues during the workshop
