Attend this online event if you'd like to discover how I captured some of my award-winning pet images.
I will cover off the gear and settings I used for each image, along with what the location and set up was like at the time they were taken. I'll also share feedback from competition judges on some of my images, and how I could have improved them.
We'll then talk about how to prepare your own images for awards competitions and how to get out of your comfort zone - not only when capturing images for awards, but in receiving constructive feedback and challenging yourself to improve further.
Having entered numerous award competitions myself over the last few years, and this year being invited to judge the pet category at the NZIPP Iris Awards, I have a wealth of knowledge to share in this area.
This will be a safe environment where sharing constructive feedback will be encouraged. It takes courage to be open to receiving constructive feedback on your images, but it is hands down one of the best ways of improving your craft.
