Mount Cordeaux Morning Photo Hike

Join me on a winter photo hike, up to Mount Cordeaux Lookout.

About the event

Departing from the car park at 7:30am sharp, please join me on a relaxed early morning hike up to the Mount Cordeaux Lookout. There is plenty to capture on the way, but the lookout is the main event, with sweeping views across the valley below. The ascent is gradual and not difficult at all, with the average person taking between 1 to 1.5 hours to reach the lookout.

Once at the top we can stop for some breakfast (pack your own) and take in the amazing views and of course grab some Instagramable pics. We can then decide to either continue to Bare Rock lookout, or make our slow descent to the bottom.

Not limited to Sony users, this is a free event, with no actual teaching curriculum, aimed at getting photography and hiking lovers together, where we will share our tips and techniques together as a group.

Even if you dont have a camera, you're more than welcome to come along and try out one of mine.

A notice will be posted on my Instagram Story and on my Facebook Page If the weather conditions aren't looking so good and the hike is cancelled. If it is just light rain, it will go ahead. (rain covers available for all participants)

There is parking on both sides of the road - Google Map - Car Park Location

No, I have done this hike before with my 12 year old son, however given we are hiking in a group, I wouldn’t recommend for children younger than 10.
