Come and enjoy photography with your fellow Sony photographers and connect with nature at the beautiful Mount Lofty Botanic Garden on Saturday 27th April at 10:30am (but get there early for car parking), for the annual autumn show when the cool-climate trees transform into a panorama of scarlets, yellows and bronzes.
Autumn colours lend themselves beautifully to photographers in all shapes and forms. Whether you like Panoramas or Macro there will be something for you at the Mt Lofty Botanic Garden.
The main lake and duck pond are probably the best place to photograph wildlife and autumnal colours at their best but wander anywhere and your lens will be richly rewarded. If you have never been there this is one of Adelaide's best kept secrets for photography where you can walk and photograph to your heart's content.
Come along and gets some tips and tricks for your Sony camera with taking photos in these wonderful gardens.
At 12:30pm we'll meet for a chat back at the pop-up coffee van, which will be set up near the Lower Car park selling coffee, cakes, sandwiches, water and soft drinks.
Your host for the day is Adelaide's Sony Digital Imaging Advocate, Colin J. Pearce. If you get lost or run late, please phone him on 0408 426 546.
Friends & family most welcome, but please book a ticket for each person!
Meet at 12:30pm at the pop-up coffee van, which will be set up near the Lower Car park, where you can buy coffee, cakes, sandwiches, water and soft drinks.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. The lower car park off Lampert Road is where we meet, but parking at weekends tends to be busy, but well worth it. Fortunately additional weekend parking is available from the lower entrance of the garden. For visitors requiring special access or have mobility needs, please use the accessible parking or drop-off zone in the Lower Car Park.
There is ticketed parking, but that's actually a donation towards the running of the Garden. They suggest $1 for an hour or $3 all day.
Celebrating its tenth year, the Alpha Awards showcase the very best of photography captured on a Sony Alpha camera and lens, giving you the chance to share in over $60,000 (AUD) worth of Sony digital imaging gear.
