Sony Adelaide adventure to the National Railway Museum plus coffee
About the event
Come for coffee and a chat with Adelaide's Sony Digital Imaging Advocate, Colin J. Pearce, and the friendly fellow Sony Alpha users at L.Law Cafe (formerly Cafe Foreyou) opposite the Maritime Museum in Lipson Street, Port Adelaide, before wandering down to the National Railway Museum a bit further down Lipson Street ($12 entrance fee for adults).
Take a journey into railway history at the National Railway Museum, Australia's largest undercover railway museum with over 100 exhibits representing State, Commonwealth and private railway operators on the three major rail gauges used in Australia. Take in the size of the giant steam engines, walk through elegant carriages, enjoy the fun of train rides and interactive and educational displays.
We're lucky to have this impressive, big, national museum here in Adelaide.
Afterwards you could even visit the South Australian Aviation Museum, just a few more doors down Lipson Street.
If you get lost or run late, please phone Colin on 0408 426 546
2026 marks the eleventh year of the Alpha Awards celebrating the greatest images from across Australia and New Zealand captured on Sony Alpha cameras and lenses, giving you the chance to share in over $62,000 (AUD) worth of Sony digital imaging gear.
