About the event

Anyone interested in learning and or wanting to advanced their skills in night photography are welcome to join us like-minded photographers. We are getting together to enjoy learning to be creative around the South Bank Parklands. Everyone is welcome to join us whether you are young or old etc. in a safe and friendly group environment.

Techniques covered

• We will be covering Long Exposure Techniques.
• Short Exposure in High ISO. 
• Tips on setting up Sony Cameras for night photography. 
• Tips on Tripods and accessories.

What to bring

• Please bring a tripod.
• Your camera lenses or lens. 
• A cable release if you have one. (Not compulsory)

I don't have a camera/lens. Will I be able to borrow one?

I have some lenses of my own that you are welcome to experiment with on the night.

Will meals be provided?

No, but we do stop at a cafe and catch up and answer any further question you may have after the walk.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Wear sensible shoes and comfortable clothing.

Is there any parking available?

Yes, undercover parking at South Bank Parklands, at your own cost.
