Join Sony Advocate Craig Turnbull and professional photographer/videographer, Peter Turnbull on the ultimate photography retreat nestled in the serene Noosa Hinterlands. This exclusive retreat is designed for up to 7 guests who are passionate about photography and eager to enhance their skills in a breathtaking natural setting.
Indulge in a 3-night stay filled with immersive experiences, including a variety of photography opportunities, including wildlife, astrophotography, under water photography, drone, portraits, and editing sessions led by Craig and Peter. There will of course be time to sit, relax and enjoy the farm, either in solitude or in the company of your fellow participants and hosts.
If it's not too cold, take a refreshing dip in the on-site swimming pool and unwind amidst the natural surroundings, or perhaps gather around the fire pit in the evening for cozy conversations and stargazing. Theres also acres of farmland to explore on photography walks around the property, capturing the beauty of nature at every turn.
Getting There
The starting point for the retreat is in Eumundi at Matso's Brewery. Craig and Peter will introduce themselves aand provide a welcome lunch around 12PM. Depending on time and availability a brewery tour may aslo be included.
Participants are to make there way here at their own cost, however transport for a limited number may be available. (Please contact the hosts before booking)
Your home away from home will be an AirBNB Farm Stay in the scenic Noosa Hinterlands, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning landscapes. The tranquil atmosphere and picturesque views provide the perfect backdrop for your photography adventures.
Your accommodation offers all the comforts of home, including cozy bedrooms, modern amenities,indoor fireplace and full kitchen with coffee pod machines.
There is a mix of queen size and single beds througout the house, as well as 3 full size bathrooms.

Food
All meals where applicable will be included, along with a welcome lunch at Matso's Brewery in Eumundi.
The majority of meals will be home cooked in the farm kitchen, or prepared sandwiches for outside lunches. (any meals outside of these arrangements will be at participants cost) The on-boarding form sent out after booking will capture any dietary requirements.
Tea, coffee, water and breakfast juice will be provided.
Alcohol is not included.
Payment & On-Boarding
Final payment details will be sent directly to you along with an on-boarding form.
The final payment of $730 must be received no later than the 20/09/2024
About your hosts
Despite the same surname, Craig and Peter are not related. They first met during one of Craig's very first Sony Scene, Astro Photography camping events and linked up later both professionally and through a common interest in photography. The friendship has grown to a point whereby they talk several times a week and regularly meetup in and outside the realm of photography. They also jointly host the Facebook Group Alpha Users & Friends.
