Online Editing Workshop: From Capture to Final Image
Join Eric Peng, Director at EP Group and Sony Digital Imaging Advocate, for an engaging and interactive online editing workshop as he takes you behind the scenes of his recent journey through Kenya — transforming raw captures of wildlife, people, and landscapes into polished final images.
Using real photographs from the vast plains of Laikipia to intimate portraits and moments of daily life, Eric will guide you step-by-step through his editing process — showing how thoughtful post-production can enhance storytelling, mood, and visual balance.
Throughout the session, Eric will cover:
-
How to approach image selection and identify strong frames from a series
-
Techniques for adjusting exposure, contrast, and colour to enhance atmosphere
-
Using masks and selective tools to guide attention and refine composition
-
Maintaining a cohesive editing style across wildlife, portrait, and landscape imagery
-
Preparing your files for web, print, and social media presentation
This live and interactive session is ideal for photographers of all levels who want to deepen their understanding of editing while exploring creative ways to bring their images to life.
To foster a friendly and collaborative learning environment, all participants are kindly asked to join with their camera on. Audio-only participation is not supported at this stage.
Please note this session will not be recorded, allowing for open discussion and live demonstration.
We look forward to having you join us as we explore the art of editing — revealing the beauty, diversity, and emotion of Kenya through thoughtful post-production.
